Ideal® Garlic Red Wine Vinaigrette

Servings: 8 (2 tablespoons per serving)

3 garlic cloves, unpeeled
3/4 c extra virgin olive oil
1/4 c red wine vinegar
2 tsp Ideal® No Calorie Sweetener
1 tsp Dijon or yellow mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper


  1. Toast unpeeled garlic cloves in small skillet over medium heat, turning cloves occasionally, until fragrant and color of clove deepens; about 6 to 7 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  2. Meanwhile, place remaining ingredients in medium bowl. Peel garlic; mince or press through a garlic press and add to mixture.
  3. Blend ingredients with an electric hand mixture or emersion blender for 2 minutes, or until mixture is well blended.
  4. Store in airtight container.
